Privacy Policy
Effective 12 August 2026
SleeveIt has no accounts and no advertising, and everything you create stays on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is anonymous usage analytics, described below — never your game list, measurements, or photos.
Your data stays on your device
Everything you create in SleeveIt — your games, notes, card measurements, sleeve stock, calibration, and any card photos used for on-device recognition — is stored only on your iPhone. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Analytics
SleeveIt uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, how often cards are measured or games added — so we can improve it. Firebase collects anonymous usage events, a per-install identifier, and basic device and diagnostic information (such as device model and app version). This data is not used to track you across other apps or websites, is not sold, and is never linked to your name or contact details. It is processed by Google under the Firebase privacy terms and Google's privacy policy. None of your SleeveIt content — games, notes, measurements, or photos — is ever included.
Camera
The camera is used solely to measure cards, and all processing happens on your device. Camera images are never uploaded anywhere.
Catalog updates
The app periodically downloads its game catalog from GitHub Pages. This is an ordinary web request; like any web server, GitHub may process standard connection logs (such as IP addresses) under GitHub's privacy policy. The request contains no identifiers and nothing about you or your use of the app.
Optional BoardGameGeek import
If you choose to import your BoardGameGeek collection, the username you enter is sent to BoardGameGeek's public API solely to fetch that collection's list of games. It is not stored by us, and nothing else — including your SleeveIt data — is ever sent to BoardGameGeek.
Changes
If a future version of the app changes any of the above, this policy will be updated here before that version ships.
