Background music for board game nights
TabletopScore streams its music rather than storing it on your device, so it needs an internet connection. Things to check:
The catalog covers 100+ popular titles, but it isn’t exhaustive. Use the Search tab to look by game name, genre, or mood. If a game you play is missing, email it in — the catalog grows based on requests.
Yes. TabletopScore is built to run for a whole game session, so it keeps playing in the background and appears on your lock screen and in Control Centre. Pause it from there, or use the sleep timer in the player to have it stop on its own.
Open the full player by tapping the mini player at the bottom of the screen. The moon icon sets a sleep timer; the speaker icon ducks the volume for table talk so you can explain the rules without stopping the music.
Yes — Settings → Content → “Hide classical music” removes the Classical playlist and category from the Library, Home, and Search.
It refreshes automatically about once a day. To update immediately, use Settings → Catalog → “Refresh catalog now.”
There are no accounts and nothing personal is collected. The app can send an anonymous count of which games and playlists get played, and you can switch that off in Settings → Privacy. Full details are in the privacy policy.
